Hello Everyone!
Thank you all so much for joining us yesterday at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church for an afternoon of celebrating all the learning and growing that our students have done this semester and this school year through careful practice, lots of discipline, and learning how to learn better. Thank you parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends for all the support you provide in so many big and little ways. This learning process – and events like these recitals – truly wouldn’t be possible without everything you do to support these children in their studies.
Looking at the pictures from the day, I’m so thankful to see so much good posture, so many good bow holds, and so much use of good technique – it lets us know that our students are being set up for success in their musical journeys. But I’m all the more thankful to see all the smiles, and all the people coming together to support music education. It’s not hyperbole or an overstatement to say that we feel like really do have the most special and amazing community of families here at West County Strings – and that extends to each and everyone one of you who reads this!
Information for our next big event – the Spring Festival group performances – will be coming soon, but in the meantime, enjoy some pictures from this past weekend’s recitals and we’ll see you in lessons and at group class this week!
