Kirby and I happened across this video a few years ago, and it has astounded us ever since.  The solo violin part of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto is difficult on it’s own, but what Alexandr performs here is both the solo and the orchestra part simultaneously.  It’s always a reminder to me that if you find your musical passion and pursue it, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish.  And it’s totally okay to think outside the box.  The world would be a boring place if no one ever did!
